What is Metabolic Balance?
Metabolic Balance® is a nutrition program designed with a focus on individualised support and personalised meal plans.
It is grounded in scientific research and proven results. Unlike many other weight management programs that rely on pills or shakes, Metabolic Balance® emphasises natural wholefoods and teaches you how to incorporate them into your diet.
Your personalised nutrition plan is crafted to include the essential building blocks your body needs—proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements—sourced from natural wholefoods. Each plan specifies the ideal combinations of proteins, vegetables, fruits, fats, and starches based on your glycaemic load and metabolic rate.
Your plan is tailored to your unique biochemistry (based on blood results) and takes into consideration your eating preferences and any existing health conditions. This ensures sustainable, long-term improvements to your overall health.
It is recognised by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia (TGA), and is acknowledged by many conventional medical practitioners and some health funds.
Metabolic Balance® balances your body chemistry (that’s why we take extensive blood tests and measurements) with your correct food chemistry.
When we provide your body with everything it needs, your body’s inflammation (the underlying driver of so many conditions) will decrease.
When our bodies are inflamed, they will retain fat and try and use our natural hormonal system to balance it - that’s great in the short term, but in the long term, all this does is deplete our systems and make us feel cranky (or emotional), fat, in pain and tired.

Through an in-depth consultation (either in person or online) I explore your health concerns, current medications, and dietary preferences to understand your unique needs.
You then have your blood tests which will uncover what is occuring in your body.
Step 2: Let’s get started
You receive a personalised nutrition plan featuring healthy, varied meals, eight essential guidelines, and a smartphone app to support you.
I provide a detailed analysis and interpretation of your blood results and loads of tips to get you started.
Step 3: Supporting You
We have regular follow-up consultations as I support you through each phase of your program.

Metabolic Balance® is for anyone who wants to reset their metabolism, balance their blood sugar and feel their best. It’s for anyone who wants to lose weight, eliminate cravings, balance their hormones, reduce inflammation or help manage health conditions.
It’s also for anyone who just wants to know which foods are best for them.

Metabolic Balance® is not suitable for children under 18 years, for pregnant or women who are breastfeeding, for people with BMIs under 18, for vegans and for those with disordered eating habits.
People with renal insufficiency and people on anti-psychotic medications are also excluded.

While Metabolic Balance® is great for weight loss, it is so much more. Most of my clients have health goals beyond the weight loss and the weight loss is a bonus. My clients have used Metabolic Balance® for health goals including:

No and no! We do not track calories on Metabolic Balance® and the program is designed so that you will not be hungry - in fact, hunger is discouraged!

Yes you can, medications, contraceptives and current health conditions are taken into account in developing your individual nutrition program. The one exception is that those on anti-psychotic medication are excluded.

That is difficult to answer as it is different for everybody, but most people do start to feel improvements within the first 2-3 weeks.

Currently BUPA and AHM offer rebates for the Metabolic Balance Program for some members under the “weight management program” category of extras policies – I recommend checking with your fund to confirm if this applies to your policy.
